Peter Curtis and Warren McReynolds organised the Bairnsdale Classic Car Club’s car rally starting from Peter’s place on Saturday, August 25, 2024.
The member’s were lined up and given instructions and a question sheet and they were sent out to discover the area with cars taking off five minutes apart.
The members drove all over the place with cars going in all directions.
It was a wonder how they all got to Apex Park, Lakes
Entrance and shared a morning tea.
After morning tea, the members were given another sheet of questions to answer questions on our travels via the back of Lakes Entrance, Forestec, Tambo Upper, Mossiface then back to Lucknow.
Max Curtis thanked Peter and Warren for organising a fantastic event.
Some of the answers were questionable, as were the questions.
There was a lot of discussion over the questions and who got what right. The event went very well with 10 entrants.
Bob McCoy was thanked for his culinary expertise with the barbecue.
It was a very enjoyable day of fellowship, lunch, cake, sweets and a lot of fun.
The trophy was won by Peter and Valerie Petrovich with a score of 89.5 points.
They were most surprised as they thought they had missed so many answers.
