Jacqui Shannon from the TXR Runners led the field home in last Saturday’s Lakes Entrance parkrun at her first attempt at the course.
Shannon completed the course in 23 minutes and 24 seconds, 34 seconds ahead of the first man home, Chris Hedditch, whose wife, Jacqueline finished third in a personal best time of 25 miutes and 49 seconds.
The event saw 33 participants chose to complete the five kilometres in a run, walk or jog.

It was the 271st edition of the Lakes Entrance parkrun, which saw six debutantes and three personal bests.
The fastest time ever recorded at Lakes Entrance is still held by Eric Ueda, who on on News Year Eve 2022, ran a staggering 16 minutes and six seconds.
