Winter is here, which makes it an ideal time to grab your thermals and get out and about being active.
You don’t need to travel too far to find Echo Bend Camping Park, a place where winter can still be enjoyed.
There is still so much more to see and do.
“The wildlife around is in abundance,” owner Julie Webb said.
“Not far from the camp-ground you will see kangaroos, wallabies, wombats and emus all in their natural habitat. Great for the kids or even keen photographers.

“Visit Dead Cock Den or sit by the river. It’s such a rewarding experience and so relaxing, to just to stop and listen, to the sounds around you.
“The water gushing over the rocks and all the birds chirping and fluttering.
“Not far from the camp-ground you can easily access 4WD tracks to venture out for the day, or a simple drive to see the sights of Dargo.”
On Saturday, July 6, from 11am-2pm, you can come and enjoy a winter-themed painted stones activity.
Julie will be there to ensure you have fun, provide designs for you to get you started or you can be creative and do your own.
“Why not be involved with the Winter Festival theme and light up your caravan or camp site, this could make a great evening activity for the whole family to be involved and enjoy winter,” Julie said.
“You can simply rug up, relax by a fire drum and enjoy the surrounds with family and friends.”
