Lakes Entrance Visitor Information Centre is adding to the East Gippsland Winter Festival with an Enchanted Winter Night Sky created under the outside walkway.
It is an amazing yarn installation created by Visitor Centre employee and crochet street artist, Kasia Bourke, and it highlights the breath-taking winter sky unique to the East Gippsland region.
By crocheting a night sky, the aim is to bring an unexpected element of warmth and softness to an outdoor setting, evoking joy where you might least expect it.
“We have created the Southern Cross and zodiac constellations, it will be a real immersive experience,” Kasia said.
The display is proudly brought to you by the East Gippsland Visitor Information Centre and is certainly worth a visit day or night to see the spectacular creation.
