Lakes Entrance hosted Orbost Snowy Rovers in round 10 of the East Gippsland Junior Football Association last Sunday, the Seagulls came away with three impressive wins.
After a couple of wet and soggy weeks, Sunday saw the sun finally come out allowing both sides the opportunity to showcase their skills to the appreciative audience.
The Seagulls under 11s got the day off to a great start with an impressive victory against a gallant Blues outfit, who gave it their all against a taller and more polished Lakes Entrance combination.
In the under 13s Lakes Entrance got off to the best possible start, kicking seven goals in the first term on the way to a game haul of 15.
The Seagulls went on to win the game by 30 points and consolidate their hold on fourth spot on the ladder.
The win puts Lakes Entrance eight points ahead of fifth-placed Orbost Snowy Rovers.
Jeremy Rotheram was in everything up forward booting four goals, while Henry Lothian was impressive slotting three.
Good players were plentiful, the coaching staff picking out Lochie Yates, Rotheram, Lothian, Makayla Sowden, Zac Elfrink and Harry Strong as the best.
The Seagulls under 15s are playing with great confidence and are a clear second on the competition ladder after disposing of the Blues by 50 points.
Lakes was just too tall, too fast and too strong, winning every position on the ground, kicking 17 goals on the way to victory.
Thomas Graham continued his recent dominance up forward kicking five goals, ably assisted by Kye Piper and Tayte Gibbs who contributed three each.
Awards went to Ayden Martin, Harley Young, Cooper Anderson, Graham, Gibbs and Harrison Bennett.
Lakes Entrance will do battle with the Cats at the Lindenow Recreation Reserve on Sunday.
