School is back and students across the Lakes Entrance region are happy to be back in the classroom and playground, mingling with their classmates, new friends and teachers.
Lakes Entrance Primary School staff and students were excited to return to school this year reported principal Simon Prior.
“Across the school it was brilliant to see so many smiling, happy faces and students and staff settled in quickly with enthusiasm for the new year,” he said.
The school welcomed two new staff, Rachael Rebeiro and Mark Doddrell, along with long-term regulars Natalie Bire and Indira Quinn who have accepted more permanent positions, revolutionising our art and STEM programs moving forward.
“Our senior school students have settled into their leadership roles and are eagerly looking forward to receiving their individual laptops this week which is a part of our program ensuring each student has access to up-to-date technology, to support their learning without placing any financial burden on families in what has been a difficult time.
