Lakes Entrance Main Beach provided the perfect backdrop for 15 teams to contest the annual Lakes Entrance Netball Association (LENA) Beach Netball competition last Saturday.
Teams travelled from as far afield as Melbourne to compete, families taking the opportunity to spend some quality time in the Gippsland Lakes region.
Many were returning teams who have been supporting the competition for many years and love coming back to enjoy the atmosphere of beach netball.
Teams played with a high level of entertainment and skill, with players showcasing their agility and strategic moves, the shooting ability a feature, with many three-point shots successful.
LENA was thankful for the support of Gippsport, Surf Life Saving Lakes Entrance, Netball Victoria, umpires, sponsors, volunteers, players and spectators.
