The East Gippsland Winter Festival is just around the corner and Lakes Entrance, Metung and surrounding districts have some exciting activities to see and do throughout the month long event.
The festival begins on June 3 and is jammed packed with diverse events throughout the region until July 9.
Metung’s big drawcard event is the Fire and Ice Festival which includes music, food, wine and beer, lantern parade, ice carving and fire breathing.
It will be held on the evening of Saturday, June 10, preceded by a farmers market during the day.
The town will also see varying yoga and meditation events, winter night sky bathing, distilling master class, weaving workshop, a paint and sip event, night animal spotting at Nyerimilang and much more.
