The Metung property market continues to demonstrate its popularity with an iconic beach house being snapped up less than 48 hours after it was listed for $690,000.
Known as the ‘butterfly house’, the property in Stirling Road exudes Retro style and has serious street appeal.
It’s believed to have been built in the 70s and sold in 1985 to the current owner, who still resides at the property, for $90,000.
The new owner, from Melbourne, viewed the property via a Facetime inspection with Metung agent, Richard O’Byrne.
“It was site unseen and he paid the full asking price,” Mr O’Byrne said.
