Lakes Entrance Secondary College (LESC) said farewell to its 2019 year 12 students with a graduation dinner that was attended by students, teachers and family members.
School council president, Julie Chester, congratulated the students on completing their studies and wished them well for their future.
“It’s been a partnership between students, teachers and families that has helped you get this far and we wish you every success in the future,” Mrs Chester said.
“Whether it is an apprenticeship or other employment opportunities you are aiming for, whether it is further studies at TAFE or university that is the next stage of your lives, both your college and your families want to remind you that we will always be there to support you.”
Acting principal, Barb Hadlow, said the students could all be proud of their achievements at LESC.
“What I am asking from each of you is to meet all of the challenges that lie ahead with your heads held high and your hearts wide open,” she said.
“Remember the years at school fondly, and live your lives outside of the school with dignity and kindness so that we will remember you and your days at the school with joy, pride and fondness.
“We will be proud of what you have become as a result of what we have shared and learned and overcome together.”
