To keep with the theme of great races, The Duck Cup will be in action on Melbourne Cup Eve, November 5, at Lakes Entrance.
It will be held on the foreshore, near the footbridge and will include a twilight market and entertainment from Ro Slyfox and Hanh Phan.
There will be food vans, market stalls, jumping castles and more, ensuring that there is something for the whole family.
Lakes Entrance Events will be hosting the event and organisers are hoping to see as many people as possible, with all proceeds going towards the Lakes Entrance New Year’s Eve fireworks and entertainment.
Ducks will be on sale from 2pm. The market and entertainment will start from 4pm. The race will be on Cunninghame Arm near the footbridge with first prize being $200.
Lakes Entrance Events is a not for profit organisation and its sole purpose, at present, is raising funds for the annual fireworks display.
It will be holding other fundraising activities in the lead up to New Year’s Eve.
