Last Sunday, 10 Lakes Entrance pickleball players headed to the Gippsland Regional Indoor Sports Stadium in Traralgon to take part in the inaugural regional teams challenge.
The event brought together players from Traralgon, Sale, Warragul, Inverloch and Lakes Entrance for a day of friendly but competitive play, aimed at strengthening connections across the region while promoting the fast-growing sport.
Alongside the on-court action, participants also enjoyed a shared lunch and a fun target-hitting activity, adding to the social atmosphere of the day.
Representing Lakes Entrance were Beck Thompson, Ken Marsh, Mel and Cam Shegog, Daryl and Shannon Murdoch, Louise Martinogles, Kathryn Phillips, Mandy Walker and Mike Spruzen.
At the end of the day, Inverloch claimed top honours, ahead of Sale, with Traralgon finishing third.
