The Nicholson Angling Club held its 14th and final round of the season over the weekend, with 62 bream caught and released by participants.
Jack Hume claimed the longest bream prize with a magnificent 42-centimetre catch, while Neil Fleming won the longest string award for five fish totalling 174.5 centimetres.
Among the women, Nikki Bryant once again excelled, landing the longest bream at 38 centimetres. Ian Wilson took out the longest bream on bait with 37.5 centimetres, and Blair Bryant claimed the largest other species, a 57-centimetre flathead.
Junior honours went to Henry Gilmore (38.5 centimetres) and Noah Roderick (29.5 centimetres), while the secret lengths were awarded to Indi Roderick, Eliza Montague, Steve Whibley and Phil O’Kelly.
The club’s annual general meeting will be held on February 7 at 4pm at the clubrooms.
