The East Gippsland Hockey Association (EGHA) will host its annual general meeting on Tuesday, November 18 at the WORLD pavilion from 7pm.
The following positions will be made vacant: president, vice president, treasurer, secretary, junior coordinator, senior coordinator, media officer, umpire coordinator, records officer and VL3 coordinator.
The meeting will be in person only with no option to be online.
EGHA invites anyone interested in becoming a part of the committee or who would like to see what 2026 season may look like to attend the meeting.
If you are interested in any of the positions, nomination forms must be signed by the candidate and submitted no later than Monday, November 17 to the secretary.
Meetings for the EGHA are held at the WORLD precinct every third Tuesday of the month at 7pm.
All committee members are required to attend the meetings online or face-to-face.
EGHA wants to have a fair representation of all the clubs holding positions on the committee and encourages more new faces from clubs to attend and assist their own clubs with managing club positions. Without volunteers, individual clubs and associations quickly disappear and they do not want this to happen to any of the current clubs.
So please consider nominating for any roles and remember there will always be assistance to help you while you learn, as it benefits everyone.
