For as long as she can remember, Michelle Julier (pictured) has had a love for fashion and sewing. Growing up in Nungurner, East Gippsland, a creative passion led her to Melbourne straight after high school to study fashion design — the first step in what would become a stylish and rewarding career.
Michelle went on to manage several established fashion businesses in Melbourne before taking on a senior stylist role with renowned Australian designer Rachel Gilbert. During that time, she had the opportunity to style and dress a number of high-profile clients and celebrities, gaining invaluable experience in the world of luxury fashion.
Now, through her business Runway Rental Hampton, Michelle brings that same sense of glamour and confidence to women everywhere. Her collection features a curated range of designer labels including Rachel Gilbert, Rebecca Vallance, Carla Zampatti, Sass & Bide and Eliya The Label — perfect for weddings, bridesmaids, mothers of the bride or groom, gala events, race days, milestone birthdays, hens’ nights and themed parties.
Michelle has styled WAGs for the Brownlow, television personalities, celebrities and influencers, but what truly drives her is helping everyday women feel amazing for their special occasion.
“I’ve always loved getting dressed up and wanted to share that feeling with others,” Michelle said.
“Fashion should be fun, expressive and accessible — not wasteful.”
With sustainability at heart, most of her garments are purchased second-hand, keeping unique event pieces in circulation and reducing the environmental impact of fast fashion.
Runway Rental Hampton offers express postage and postal try-ons Australia-wide, making designer fashion more accessible than ever.
