Terry McGrath led a field of 40 home last Saturday morning in the Lakes Entrance parkrun in a personal best time for the five-kilometre course along the esplanade.
McGrath completed the course in 21 minutes and 35 seconds, one of six athletes to run, jog or walk a personal best.
The first female home was consistent teenager Mia Calleja (23.18), with organisers delighted to see seven first-time participants enjoying the calm and peaceful morning.
The field contained runners from Pakenham, Echuca, Redcliffe, Canberra and the Gold Coast.
Other personal best times were recorded by Patrick Bowtle (22.16), Josh Weeks (23.39), Madison Silver (35.03), Naomi Silver (35.26) and Dayne Walliker (41.41)
Participants departed from the rotunda at 8am with Lakes and District Runners, Moreton Bay Road Runners, With Me New, Southern Peninsula Sports Club and Australia Post Group.
