The Victorian Speedway Council (VSC) committee is pleased to share some important news.
The VSC and Racing Sedans Australia (RSA) have come to an in-principle agreement to recognise each other’s registrations and run in their respective states.
This agreement is instrumental in establishing a cross-affiliation between both groups, with the winners being the competitors, who will now be able to compete in Victoria or New South Wales.
This recognition will see some VSC-registered cars recognised under RSA specifications and divisions and vice versa.
Obviously, this will only apply to club events, with titles still requiring full registrations for each specific division, and all drivers must ensure all divisions are listed on their licence.
Both organisations will monitor this affiliation over the next 12 months and reconvene discussions moving forward.
It is hoped that competitors will take up this opportunity to expand their racing experience.
Current classes recognised under this agreement are unlimited sedans, sports sedans, GOSA, outlaw sedans and super production.
The RSA committee is proud of this achievement and hopes it will support the border communities by boosting class numbers.
