There have been some good fishing stories coming out of Lake Tyers again this week.
One community member scored big with Hurricane Twitch 66 and Clone Prawn bait, landing flathead amid the bream, while another angler reported perch, trevally and bream are biting, especially off bank number two boat ramp on shrimp.
Another cagey fisher revealed a local secret: grab coffee at a local café for fishing tips and fish left of the boat ramp for a possible catch.
Hopefully there is something at the end of the line for the battlers.
