Dear Editor,- I do not think that the outdoor pool should close because I go to Bairnsdale West Primary School, also known as BWPS, and we have a swimming carnival there every year. What about the lifeguards – how would you feel if you lost your job?
The outdoor pool is my favourite place and it is shutting down.
If we just clean the water the whole of Bairnsdale would be happy.
Pretty much everyone in Bairnsdale has made memories at this place, they wouldn’t be able to go back to the place where all their memories were made.
If you keep it open people can make friends and play with the friends they have already made. Wouldn’t you like seeing all the kids with their smiling faces swimming all around the pool?
Have you read the local newspaper?
It has heaps of letters to the editor about the pool closing.
I hope you think about keeping it open.
