The coaching appointments just keep coming at the Lakes Entrance Amateur Basketball Association (LEABA) with several more 2025/26 representative appointments made late last week.
The latest appointments will compliment the LEABA representative program perfectly, with some great combinations helping to drive development and successes.
Among the latest appointments are Kane Downing (under 10 girls assistant coach), Jason Whelan (under 14 boys assistant coach), Erin Russell (under 16.2 boys head coach) and Sarah Lawrence (under 18 girls assistant coach).
Tryouts have started with the under 12 boys (6pm), under 14 girls and boys (6.45pm) and under 18 girls and boys (7.30pm) being held tonight.
An under 16 girls session will be held on Friday from 6.45pm.
Sunday will be a busy day with under 10 girls (10.30am), under 12 girls (11.15am), under 14 girls (noon), under 18 girls (1pm), under 12 boys (2pm), under 16 girls (2.45pm), under 14 boys (3.30pm), under 16 boys (4.15pm) and under 18 boys (5pm).
A Basketballl Victoria under 12 skills day was held in Sale last weekend with the LEABA well represented.
Winter Thomas, Lacey Lee, Ivy O’Donnell, Billie Piper, Maddie Silver and Willow Watson attended the girls sessions with Chad Russell and Joel Pompei representing the boys.
Marissa McKean, Danielle Piper, Andrew Wright and Jamie O”Donnell also attended.
