The Newry Golf Club recently hosted its annual Men’s Plate.
This year’s event was wonderful due to the support of the players and helpers who attended on the day.
The teams event was won by Drouin, with Tristan Ashby, Simon Cargill, Mitch and Brett Dwyer finishing with 105 points.
Individual grades were hotly contested, with Al Murnane, utilising the home ground advantage to take “A” grade with 39 points.
Brett Dwyer was successful in “B” grade, with 39 points, while Heyfield’s Glenn Synott posted the best score of the day, taking “C” grade with 40 points.
The Newry Golf Club are already planning for a bigger and better event in 2026.
