Sale Golf Club recently hosted its second Bright Colours Golf Day, fundraising for Newborn Intensive Care Foundation Gippsland.

The event attracted a field of 57 colourfully dressed women, who participated in Cha Cha Cha stableford format, in the process raising $1300 for the foundation.

The winning team was Maffra’s Pam Pitman, Wendy Fuessell and Marion Wrigglesworth (Maffra), closely followed by Bairnsdale’s Mel May, Maryanne Emmerton and Leonie Taylor.

In the individual events Carmel Cameron (Newry) and Rose Jackson (Bairnsdale) were victorious.

The best dressed team was Helen Mifsud, Kaye Middlemiss and Karen Shaw from Moe.

Lakes Entrance’s Di Dickson was the lucky winner of the handcrafted wooden platter made and donated by Bruce Carter, while Mel Schaper won the beautiful flowers donated by Debbie Krusic.
