Junior football action returns this Sunday with Lakes Entrance hosting Bairnsdale in under 11, 13 and 15 action at the Lakeside Oval from 10.30am.
With only three rounds remaining before the start of the 2025 East Gippsland Junior Football Association finals in the under 13 and 15 grades, both Seagulls teams are assured of being part of the action.
But that certainly won’t stop the coaching panels pushing hard to drill in game plans and ensure players are ready for finals pressure.
In the under 15s the Seagulls sit second on the ladder, their only loss for the season to unbeaten ladder leader Wy Yung.
Lakes Entrance sits on top of the ladder in the under 13s despite suffering their first defeat of the season last round in a surprise result to Lindenow.
Coach Gerard Kennedy will be keen to get the season back on track against the Redlegs.
