Services Australia’s Mobile Service Centre Blue Gum is currently visiting towns in East Gippsland.
The mobile service centre will be offering the community easy access to Medicare and Centrelink services and can provide information about the National Disability Insurance Scheme and Department of Veterans’ Affairs services.
Blue Gum will visit:
– Marlo, Wednesday, July 16 (today) in the Marlo Hotel car park, Argyle Parade (9am to 4pm)
– Nowa Nowa, Thursday, July 17, adjacent to the general store, Princes Highway (9am to 2.30pm)
– Lakes Entrance, Tuesday, July 22, in the Foreshore car park, The Esplanade, (9.30am to 4pm)
– Lakes Entrance, Wednesday, July 23, in the Foreshore car park, The Esplanade (9am to 4pm)
– Metung, Thursday, July 24, near Patterson Park, Metung Road (9am to 4pm)
– Swan Reach, Friday, July 25, opposite the general store, Princes Highway (9am to 3.30pm)
– Stratford, Monday, July 28, near Memorial Park, Tyers Street (9am to 4pm)
– Maffra, Tuesday, July 29, near the rotunda, Johnson Street (9am to 4pm)
– Golden Beach, Wednesday, July 30, near the recreation area, Shoreline
Drive (9am to 4pm)
– Seaspray, Thursday, July 31 opposite the post
office, Foreshore Road (9am to 3pm)
Mobile service centres are 20 tonne trucks operated by staff from Services Australia, providing regional and rural Australians with friendly face-to-face services and tailored support. Staff on board this trip can help with: Centrelink claims; Payment and services information; Updating information; Confirming documents and supporting information; myGov services; Social work support and referrals; Medicare registrations; Accessing online services through a self-service terminal.
