Recently the Bairnsdale Classic Car Club went to Benalla for a week of sightseeing of the murals in the surrounding towns.

The murals were classed as outstanding and speaking to the locals it has attracted a lot of sightseers and business to the outlying towns.

The group spent a day in Shepparton and Wangaratta.

The members attended the aviation museum at Benalla which provided and informative display.

One day they attended at the Winton race track where they had a tour of the control tower and watched some racing.

The members also spent a day at Beechworth, heading to the famous bakery for pies, which were fantastic. They then did a tour to Chiltern and then on to Eldorado to see the gold dredge, which created plenty of interest.

The members also attended Glenrowen and went to the Ned Kelly re-enactment show.

The group did a lot of sightseeing and enjoyed what the area had to offer.

Valerie Curtis was praised for an outstanding organised trip. The member all agreeing they had a great time together and at night time the cook ups and barbecues were fantastic.
