Emily Derham won the monthly medal last week at the Lakes Entrance Golf Club with a 75 nett. Sandi East took out "B" grade with 78 nett. (PS)

Emily Derham was an impressive winner of the ladies’ monthly medal last week at the Lakes Entrance Golf Club last week.

Derham finished with 75 nett to win “A” grade and the medal, with Sandi East victorious in “B”grade with 78 nett.

Last Tuesday in Ruthless and Toothless 23 players teed up, Brett Dostine the winner in “A” grade and Daryl Brassil taking out “B” grade.

Thursday’s medley stableford event saw “A” grade player Dean Barelli the overall winner with 39 points, beating home 64 other contenders.

Paul Mifsud continued his good recent form winning “B” grade, while Adrian Parry was too good in “C” grade saluting with 36 points.

Brad Marsden had a day out on Saturday, winning “A” grade and the overall men’s stableford competition with 41 points.

Young Kai Douglas posted the same score but it was only good enough to win “C” grade, while Chris Atkinson hit plenty of great shots in his 38 points, which secured “B” grade.

For the second consecutive week the ladies’ competition was dominated by Di Gray, whose 36 points won “B” grade and overall, while the long-hitting Katrina Fearnley took out “A” grade.
