THUMBS UP: To East Gippsland Shire for their prompt repair of the seat in Haberfield Park. The shire’s personnel who repaired it were a credit to the shire.
THUMBS DOWN: In response to last week’s thumbs down, a woman left a box of very ordinary plates etc to be sold to any stallholder or part thereof more than two months ago. When she called back recently, she insisted the contents of the box was not hers. When I indicated one piece from the box was sold for $10, she said if I put another $10 in the box, she would happily take it or she would make a fuss. I declined to be extorted and she has now made a fuss with lies. She took the box and smashed all the plates on the floor, after removing the $10 note and $2 coin.
