THUMBS UP: A fantastic job was done by the Raymond Island Ferry drivers over the Christmas/New Year holiday break. The volume of cars and pedestrians was enormous, with queues to travel on ferry never ending. The drivers were polite, helpful and professional while working in soaring temperatures.

THUMBS UP: To the many courteous drivers negotiating the roadworks at the Princes Hwy – McEacharn St intersection and the Bullumwaal Rd – Howitt Ave roadworks, looking out for other drivers entering or leaving the roadworks.

THUMBS UP: To the CFA, SES and Red Cross people who give their service community voluntarily at this busy time of the year and all year round.

THUMBS DOWN: East Gippsland Council or our local police should be ashamed for failing to stop people illegally riding bikes and scooter’s on the paths around Lakes Entrance.

THUMBS UP: To the delivery driver who had to climb over my locked gate to leave a parcel safely at my door.

THUMBS UP: For opening the outside pool in Bairnsdale. What a great family venue for healthy activity in the fresh outdoors.

THUMBS UP: To the very kind and honest person that handed in money they had found in Woolworths Lakes Entrance. My granddaughter was very relieved to have her money back. A very big thank you from both of us.
