Nationals MP, Tim Bull, has won another four years representing the people of East Gippsland in Victorian Parliament, the sitting member since 2010 heading back to the office with a significant increase in primary vote from the State Election.
On Monday Mr Bull had received more than 64 per cent of the first preference vote - an increase of almost 10 per cent
on his 2018 result - well ahead of Labor's Stephen Richardson with 16.87 per cent. No other candidate had received a first preference vote percentage in double figures. Mr Bull's two-party preferred vote percentage was 74.21 compared to Labor's 25.79. In 2018 it was 67.59 per cent.
"It's humbling to have such an increase in primary vote. My job doesn't change and that is to represent and advocate for the area and the great people of East Gippsland, whatever their political allegiances," he said.
