Last Friday evening the Nowa Nowa and Wairewa communities came together to view a promotional video highlighting the natural beauty and physical activities available in the township.
The event was held in perfect weather at the Gippsland Lakes Complete Health (GLCH) centre and was well attended by the surrounding communities.
A barbecue dinner was enjoyed with live music supplied by Ravon and the Dove, before the showing of the video.
“This video showcases the hidden gem that Nowa Nowa is,” GLCH chief executive, Sue Medson OAM, said.
“I am sure it will compel people to stop and stay a while.”
