Gippsland Opera is proud to present its 10th year of Opera By The Lakes at the stunning Nyerimilang Heritage Park on Sunday, March 16, 2025.
And what a line up of Australia’s top singers organisers have delivered.
“We are very fortunate to obtain some of Australia’s top singers who also perform internationally,” Gippsland Opera’s Andrea Ford said.
“Teddy Tahu Rhodes with his big, beautiful bass baritone voice, received rave reviews for Tosca at Sydney Opera House.
“Antoinette Halloran soprano, recently star of Vic Opera Sweeney Todd in Melbourne as Mrs Lovett. Much in demand, Antoinette has also starred for Opera Australia in La Boheme, and Madama Butterfl, also to rave reviews.
“Shanul Sharma, a magnificent tenor (his 13th concert in Bairnsdale). He’s currently performing in Germany and returning to Australia to take on the role with Opera Australia in Magic Flute.
“Dimity Shepherd, mezzo soprano. I must agree with Limelight magazine – Dimity does indeed have a charismatic voice, with limitless tone colours.
“This year we also welcome on board Will Hardy, recently a star of Boy from Oz in Sale, a talented singer, dancer, but also a musician, and to top that, a local doctor.
“What a line up, we have your need covered including boxed lunches, coffee, wine, first aid, allocated seating.”
