On Friday, October 25, Lakes Entrance Secondary College year 12 students celebrated their graduation with a dinner at the Albert and Co Function Centre to share their success with family, friends and members of the college staff.
The event highlighted the success of all year 12 students. It was also an opportunity to wish them well in the future and congratulated the students on all they had achieved over the years.
After a delicious and plentiful dinner school captains Riley Bushby, Darcy Cheers and Scarlett Jessep spoke to the audience, reflecting on the good times the group shared and thanked all teachers, support staff, families and friends for their guidance, professionalism, expertise and kindness.
The audience then enjoyed laughs
and light-hearted moments with the year 12 video created by graduate, Amani Stephenson.
Following dessert all applauded as the elegantly dressed students were individually named and crossed the floor in their formal dresses and suits. They then received a parting gift on behalf of the college.
“The year 12 students had a fabulous night, receiving a send off they deserved and will never forget,” reported leading teacher Christina Lloyd.
