Lakes Entrance Golf Club is holding its annual tournament from October 16-20.
As part of the event the club will be holding a qualifying round for the Golf Victoria’s 4BBB Championship. That 4BBB will be played as part of the first day of the tournament.
NUNGURNER: The Nungurner Primary School Centenary celebrations were a big hit last Saturday. The event was opened by local MP Tim Bull, with local legend Ray Kleinitz interviewed by another former student Lara Tincknell, who is the current Bairnsdale Secondary College, school captain. The congregation was then entertained by The Jetty Road Band featuring local twin sisters Lee and Paula Bowman – the band named after Jetty Road Nungurner and which has multiple national country music awards. METUNG: Last week 14 Metung Yacht Club members attended the theory session for the national power boating accreditation. The practical component was staged over the weekend. (PS)
