Seagulls awards night

Lakes Entrance Football Netball Club held its presentation night at the Central Hotel last Friday.

The club recognised the achievements of its coaches, players and staff across each of the six netball and three football grades.

The Seagulls will now take a short break before 2025 season training gets underway in late November.

Under 17 netball: Kylie Curnow (coach), Tayla Mills (most determined), Makayla Grabham (most valuable), Bonnie Rotheram (most consistent), Lucy Carroll (runner-up best and fairest), Matilda Richardson (best and fairest), Nicky Yates (coach).
“B” grade netball: Abbey Yates (coach), Brittany Seccull (best and fairest), Tommi Carroll (runner-up best and fairest), Mikaela Witherow (most consistent), Molly Stevens (most valuable player), Jae-Lee Greaves (coach). Absent: Teyha Morrison (most promising).
“C” grade netball: Charlotte Stephenson (coach), Mikaela Ashworth (most dependable), Bec Rotheram (best and fairest). Absent: Abbey Le Maitre (most valuable player), Reagan Radford (runner-up best and fairest.
Reserves football: Cameron Parfrey (most improved), Andrew Hatch (best and fairest). Absent: Mick Sowden (most consistent), Byron Daly (coach’s award), Andrew Rimmer (runner-up best and fairest).
“D” grade netball: Chloe Watson (coach), Harriet Copeland (coach’s award), Gabbi Wright (runner-up best and fairest), Fi Yates (best and fairest), Shanae Mills (most improved), Marissa McKean (coach).
Senior football: (back) Brendan Bassett (MVP), George Ioakim (best emerging talent), Liam Allen (best defensive player), Tom Hudson (leading goal kicker), (front) Chris Minard (water boy), Jordan Cullen (most determined), Ben Rotheram (coach), Liam Carroll (runner-up best and fairest), Angus McKenzie (best and fairest) and Andrew Stevens (assistant coach).
Senior football: Liam Carroll (runner-up) and Angus McKenzie (best and fairest).
Under 15 netball: Sheree Eiseman (coach), Tayah Alsop (best and fairest), Tulli McLeod (runner-up best and fairest), Lucy O’Donnell (coach’s award), Charlie Richardson (coach’s award).
Under 17 football: Angus Stevens (runner-up best and fairest), Charlie Goold (most consistent), Caleb O’Donnell (most determined), Max Stevens (most improved), Kurt Grabham (best and fairest), Jordan Cullen (coach), Andrew Stevens (assistant coach).
