Jett Knur led the Lakes Entrance parkrun field home last Saturday morning in a time of 18 minutes and 55 seconds.
With some ordinary weather hitting the region, only 29 athletes opted to complete the five kilometres in a run, walk or jog.
Knur finished well ahead of John White (20.12) and the consistent Paul Etheridge.
The first female across the line was Kelly Poynton in 25 minutes and 22 seconds.
Southern Peninsula Sports Club, Australia Post Group and Nobby’s Nutcases were all represented.
The event saw four competitors register personal best times and another four hit the course for the very first time.
The weekly parkrun commences at 8am, every Saturday from the rotunda on the foreshore.
