Lakes Entrance Football Netball Club suffered grand final disappointment last Saturday.
The Seagulls were gunning for East Gippsland Football Netball League premiership glory in the under 17 and “B” grade netball, however both fell short in competitive matches.
The under 17 girls lost in a thriller by one goal to Wy Yung, while the “B” grade side was beaten by nine goals by the undefeated Boisdale Briagolong.
It was a successful day for the Bombers who claimed victory over Lucknow in the senior football, while Orbost Snowy caused the upset of the day winning the “A” grade netball over the Magpies by seven goals.
Lucknow was victorious in the reserves football while Orbost Snowy claimed the thirds flag.
Wy Yung took home the trophy in both “C” and “D” grade netball while Lindenow held off Paynesville in a thrilling under 15 game.
