Paul Etheridge led the field home in the Lake Entrance parkrun for the second consecutive week.
The event saw 29 participants choose to complete the five kilometres in a run, walk or jog.
Southern Peninsula Sports Club, Everlasting Fitness Runners, Lakes and District Runners, Australia Post Group and Traralgon Harriers were all represented.
Etheridge completed the course in 20 minutes and 54 seconds, an impressive 26 seconds faster than his effort last week, and only 19 seconds off his personal best time.
He finished ahead of Chris O’Brien, whose time of 22 minutes and 48 was a personal best time, with Ryan Nightingale (24.05) crossing in third.
Another personal best time was registered by the fourth athlete home, Tim Hayward (24.38), shaving another 11 seconds off his best from last week.
