Salon Classique in Lakes Entrance is turning 35 this Friday, August 23, and they want you to join the celebrations with mini gifts, daily door prizes and double stamp on loyalty cards from now until August 30.
The salon was opened by Cheryl Guillot and she still owns it today. It has been delivering quality hair and beauty services to its customers ever since.
Manager Jacquie McInnes, who started as a third-year apprentice when the salon first opened, could not speak more highly of the dedicated staff.
“It’s a fantastic team. We presently have seven staff members, but when we started 35 years ago we had three,” she said.
Cheryl has put through more than 18 apprentices and has encouraged many men and women in being part of this great industry.
“We have gone from just a salon to a hair and beauty salon. There have been massive changes in style and fashion, going from perms daily to now foils daily. We still do plenty of perms,” Jacquie said.
While delivering high quality hair and beauty care Salon Classique also supports the community with lots of sponsorships and donations to many sporting clubs and schools.
