Cricket Victoria hosted a clinic at Lakes Entrance Primary School this week, with the preps, grade threes and fours enjoying the opportunity to learn the finer points about one of the countries most popular summer sports.
As part of Play Cricket Week, the Melbourne Stars will also commence their annual Road Trip of Regional Victoria today.
Players from both the WBBL and BBL teams, plus members of the Stars Academy will visit over 45 schools throughout the Goulburn Valley, Ovens and Murray, Gippsland and the Mornington Peninsula.
“Our Road Trip throughout regional Victoria is always a highlight of the calendar,” said Melbourne Stars General Manager Blair Crouch.
“We’d like to thank Sixt for their support and growing up in regional Victoria myself, I know the impact this can have on kids in regional areas and look forward to the next few days.”
