Lakes Entrance recorded impressive wins in the under 13 and 15 age groups over Bairnsdale in round 12 of the East Gippsland Junior Football Association at the Bairnsdale City Oval last Sunday.
The second-ranked Seagulls under 15s went on their winning way, outclassing the Redlegs by 50 points.
Victory was set up in the first 20 minutes as Lakes Entrance kicked eight unanswered majors, surprising Bairnsdale with its efficiency and attack on the football.
There were plenty of opportunities up forward with Luca Djokic and Kye Piper leading the way, kicking four goals each.
Xavier Pepper and Harley Young chipped in with three each, while Archer Connolly, Tayte Gibbs and Isaac Zagami were all busy finishing with three each.
Best players in a dominant team performance were Leroy Hayes, Young, Gibbs, Djokic, Zagami and Riley Jenkins.
In the under 13s, the Seagulls, currently third on the table, kept their hopes for a double chance alive with a decisive five-goal victory over the Redlegs.
Out of blocks early, Lakes Entrance made its intentions clear early kicking four unanswered first term majors.
It was a great day to be a forward with Jeremy Rotheram again leading the way with four goals, while Lochie Yates and Makayla Sowden both slotted three each.
This week the under 11 and 13 sides will host the Paynesville juniors, while the under 15s have a bye.
