The weather played havoc with several sessions at the Lakes Entrance Golf Club last week.
Tuesday and Wednesday sessions were cancelled with players keen to get out on the course towards the end of the week.
Thursday’s men’s stableford event only saw 28 players venture out into the cold, with Tom Stubbs successful in “A” grade with 40 points and Greg Bull victorious in “B” grade with 37.
Saturday’s men stableford session attracted 67 players, with the event won by “B” grade player Peter Nicholas (39 points).
Sam Anderson (36) won “A” grade and Alan Taylor (38) “C” grade, both successful on countback.
In the women’s, club champion Renee Percival put on another clinic, having an impressive 40 points off a handicap of seven.
All members will be looking for some better weather so they can get back on the course this week.
