Lakes Entrance Amateur Basketball Association has been busy finalising its squad coaches for 2024/25.
With coaches now finalised in the junior program, sessions have began to meet the respective coaches and enquire about the upcoming representative session.
Last night the under 12 boys (coach Andy Murray) and under 16 boys held sessions (Damian Abbey).
Tonight will see the under 10 boys (Andrew Wright) and girls (Danielle Piper), under 14 boys (Grant Balintong) and girls (Jason Whelan) hit the courts.
While on Friday night the under 12 girls will be in action with coach Marissa McKean.
The Pelicans’ men’s Country Basketball League side had its meet and greet last Sunday under coach Wright, while the Ladies will start on Sunday (6.30-7.30pm) under new coach Kaylah Dunstan.
Walking Basketball has returned on Friday from 9.30-11am, with plenty of opportunities still available to join in the fun.
Term three of the popular Aussie Hoops will start on Friday night, running from 4-4.45pm.
