That time of the year is again approaching, when the Metung Primary School, in collaboration with the Lions Club of Metung, will again be hosting the Metung Fun Run, as its major annual fundraiser.
This year the event is being held on Sunday, November 13, and there are, again, four different categories to choose from: the one kilometre Kids’ Colour Dash, for children aged 12 years or younger; the 5km and 10km runs; and the 5km walk.
New to the 2022 event is the start location for the main run/walk events, which will now be situated outside the Metung Pharmacy.
The finish line will remain as per previous years, outside the Metung Bakery.
