Bairnsdale VIEW Club will hold a ‘Fashion Parade’ and light luncheon on Thursday, October 15, at the Bairnsdale Bowls Club at 54 Grant Street.
The fashion parade will showcase Black Pepper Bairnsdale’s new spring collection. Guests are invited to arrive from 12.00pm for a 12.30pm luncheon, followed by the fashion parade at 1.30pm.
Tickets are $35 per person and include the luncheon. The event will also feature lucky door prizes and a raffle. All are welcome to attend and enjoy an afternoon of fashion and fun. Tickets must be purchased prior to the day and are available directly from the Black Pepper store.
The event is being held to raise funds to help the VIEW Club support the ‘Learning for Life’ students it sponsors through The Smith Family. The Smith Family is a children’s education charity that helps young Australians experiencing disadvantage create better futures for themselves through the power of education.
VIEW, a national women’s organisation and support network, is the largest community sponsor of students on The Smith Family’s ‘Learning for Life’ program. With over 14,000 members across 280 communities, VIEW Clubs support the education of 1800 students nationally.
Bairnsdale VIEW Club meets on the first Wednesday of each month at the Bairnsdale Bowls Club at 10.30am. The club welcomes any local women or those new to the area to attend a meeting, gather more information, or join the club.
