Kalimna Hotel has a busy few months coming up, with a variety of entertainment to keep everyone interested.
This Saturday, October 3, sees the Line Dancing Hoedown come to town, with Belinda from East Gippy Heart Line Dancing and Events leading two hours of line dancing for people of all ages and line dancing levels from 8pm.
The next Saturday, October 10, the Kalimna Hotel Car, Bike and Truck Show will be happening from 10am till late.
Car, bike and truck enthusiasts will come together to show off and view the special vehicles. Anyone is welcome to bring along their pride and joy to display for the public.
Over the day, there will be live music by Mike Elrington at 11.30am and the Joe Cool Band at 7.30pm. Food and drinks will be available, and Bathurst will be live streamed.
Kalimna Hotel Battle of the Bands Heat One will be held on Wednesday, October 21 from 7pm, Heat Two on Wednesday, October 28, and the Grand Final on Friday, October 30 from 8pm.
This event is sponsored by Bruthen Music and Warrior Records, and the purpose is to provide local musicians an opportunity to perform for a local audience.
Local bands will battle it out in two heats. The winners of each heat will then compete in the grand final for a cash and live recording prize.
Closing date for registration of bands is today, September 30, via the Kalimna Hotel website.
It is free for bands to compete and free for people to attend the heats and grand final.
