Students from Kim’s Taekwondo showcased their hard work and dedication at the club’s recent term three grading, demonstrating the skills they have developed throughout the year.
Students across all belt levels took to the mats to perform a range of techniques, including kicking drills, self-defence, sparring and traditional forms.
A highlight of the event was Leo’s Black Belt grading, where he demonstrated an impressive range of skills, culminating in a successful pine board break with a powerful side kick.
Master Kim and Master Tony congratulated all students on their outstanding performances, praising their commitment to training and the progress they have made during the year.
They also recognised the leadership shown by the club’s Black Belt students, who continue to support and mentor younger members across the club.
The core tenets of Taekwondo, including integrity, perseverance, and respect, were on full display throughout the grading, reflecting the strong values taught within the club.
Classes will resume in term four in Bairnsdale at the Lucknow Primary School hall on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6pm.
