Lakes Entrance Football Netball Club celebrated an incredible season last Friday night at the Central Hotel.
It was a season that delivered another East Gippsland Football Netball League thirds premiership, making it back-to-back success for the Seagulls.
The reserves played off in the grand final after struggling for numbers in recent seasons, while there is plenty of anticipation around with the seniors narrowly missing finals and looking to be on an upward trajectory with new coach Mitch Banner taking the
reins in 2027.
The night was full of many awards for both football and netball players.
The highlight of the evening was the announcement of the hard-working Kevin Giblin as a life member, honouring a man who has put so much time and energy into his beloved Seagulls.
The Rotheram family were acknowledged as the club’s volunteers of the season.
