Bairnsdale families are in for an action-packed, prehistoric adventure when the highly popular family show Dinomaniacs stomps onto the stage at the Forge Theatre and Arts Centre on Monday, September 21.
Designed as an interactive, high-energy experience for children of all ages, Dinomaniacs combines education, humour and live entertainment to bring the ancient world of dinosaurs to life.
The show features life-sized, razor-sharp dinosaur puppets – including energetic velociraptors, friendly herbivores and the towering Tyrannosaurus rex, all guided by a cast of enthusiastic performers who lead the audience through songs, dances and interactive games.
Throughout the performance, young audience members are encouraged to join in, learn fun facts about prehistoric creatures, and participate in lively dance-offs with the roaming dinosaurs.
Organisers suggest the show is an ideal outing for toddlers through to primary school-aged children, offering a mix of comedy and immersive stagecraft that keeps kids engaged from start to finish.
The performance will take place at the Forge Theatre, with doors opening early for foyer access. Meet-and-greet photo opportunities with the dinosaurs will also be available for audience members following the performance.
Tickets and session times can be booked online via Humanitix, through the Forge Theatre box office, or via the East Gippsland Shire Council website.
