Community spirit was on full display at the Lake Tyers Beach Tavern on Friday, September 4, as local residents gathered for the Light Up LTB Community group’s weekly raffle night.
The fundraiser aimed to support Toorloo Arm Primary School, raising money to help send grade five and six students on their upcoming educational camp to Canberra next year.
Parents, family members, and students joined together for a successful evening, raising $1,145.70 for the school.
The Light Up LTB group will host its next raffle night on Friday, September 25, with proceeds again directed to Toorloo Arm Primary School to help fund interactive TV screens across nine classrooms. Group organizers confirmed they will continue supporting the local primary school through fundraising initiatives into next year.
