It’s been another massive week of golf at the Lakes Entrance Golf Club with some impressive scores carded.
The biggest field of the week was last Saturday with 109 players hitting the fairways and greens for medley stableford.
The event was dominated by “D” grade player, Robyn Downing, who claimed overall victory with 44 points off her handicap of 46.
Dean Grining, playing off two, had an outstanding round, finishing with 38 points to secure “B” grade.
The same score saw Brett Greer successful in “B” grade and Paul Mifsud in “C” grade.
Last week at Young and the Rest of Us, Downing was again to fore, winning by a shot from Ruth McPhee.
At Wednesday’s medley stableford, Marlene Holmes was the winner of “B” grade and overall with 38 points.
Perennial club champion, Renee Percival was the winner in “A” grade with 36 points, her round highlighted by an eagle on the 12th.
Thursday’s medley stableford attracted a field of 74 players, and was led home by “C” grade player, Steve Rogers, who compiled a massive 45 points from his 32 handicap.
Clint Dostine monstered the ball, winning “A” grade with 41, while Greer was successful again in “B” grade with another 38 points.
